Another artist not yet shared on forum is Liu Tieqin, New Look ( pg 93 ).

Liu Tieqin began painting at a new studio in Daying Village under Liu Ziyi, Liu Shuangqin, and Suo Zhenhai in 1973.
In 1976 he bacame a jade carver, and at the end of 1977 was transferred to the Ji studio and assigned to the bottle grinding fabrication workshop.

He paints a lot of landscapes.. I like this one a lot ( pg 96 )..

Qin Palace, and Lijiang River at Sunset scenes in this crystal bottle, 1986..

very interesting bottle, love the colors. That must have been tough to go from artist, to bottle grinder...

I should have included that during that same time while grinding, he still insisted on painting.. In the Spring of 1985 he returned to the studio to resume painting...
