George,

The two Chinese characters reads ' Qian Long. '.

Rather unusual to have only two words Qian Long at the base !

Thank you !  Smiley

I thought it unusual as well, but not sure what, or if there is something to be learned because of only having the two .. ?

I am not great at judging, but my best guess is this being mid 20th Century..

Although nice bright blue, not the most wonderful dragon. I don't understand his face.. Probably another sign of a poor quality dragon, but for what ever reason, the bottle caught my eye..

Hi George,

The mark remind me later 20th copies, its stamped on,not painted. Altho there is some stamped mark on later qing and republic period, but most of them were iron red mark.
