For those of you living in China or Taipei or plan to travel there, there willl be two exhibitions which would be of interests to you :

1. SB exhibition in the City Museum of Qingdao ( Shandong Province ). Last day 5 May 2013.
    ( about 150 bottles on show )

2. SB exhibition in the National Museum of Taipei. About 1000 + bottles and snuff boxes on
display. Last day 20 June 2013.

Tom,

Neither do I.

Talking about Museum visit, have you been to Kuching of Sarawak ?
I was there once ( and only once thus far ! ) in mid-90's, and I was awed by the sight of a number of hornbill SB displayed in their State Museum ! They were of superb quality, making one drool as well. If you have occasion to be there, drop in to check them out.

I later nearly bought one hornbill SB from a Chinese shop in the city, but decided not to take the risk. I remember the bottle has a big Chinese word ' Fu ' carved on one side. Should have bought it .
