Hi,

I recently came into possesion of several snuff bottles and really know nothing about them. Any help identifying these and possible value would be much appreciated.

This one looks like it is a Ye Zhongsan. I compared the signature to one in another thread and they look similar.

Hi Todd,

Welcome to the forum glad to have you here. 

Congratulations, this one is a Ye Zhongsan the Elder IPSB (Inside Painted Snuff Bottle) dated Jia Chen for 1904.  It looks like a very nice natural crystal (quartz) bottle that could be considerably older than the painting. 

Please tell us how you came into the possesion of your snuff bottles and what your plans are for them.

As other indicated a Ye the older bottle, Stunning!

Thanks to all the interest on this and my other bottles.

I am guessing this is not glass as when I hold it up to a light I can see imperfections in the material.

I have several people interested in this piece as well as a couple others I have shown. Can anyone give me a ballpark value on this piece and any others I have posted?
