What is on this bottle ?  I can not tell if it is something back from when it was originally fired, or something happened to it since.. Maybe it is just some kind of crud that can be cleaned...

I just can't tell...  Huh

It does look to be over the glaze Danna, yet it seems to be concentrated where some of the actual blue is..

I do not have this in my posession..  It is up for auction..

Dear George,
in my opinion it is just dirty. I believe that it can be removed. You could ask the seller about that.

I agree with Giovanni & Pat, George.
   It just looks like dirt. But I would ask the seller, just to be sure, to be sure, as they say in Ireland.
