THIS IS THE LAST BOTTLE IN MY COLLECTION. SINCE DEC 7TH I HAVE POSTED 9 BOTTLES AND THIS IS THE LAST IN MY COLLECTION. I NEED HELP WITH EVALUATING AND IDENTIFYING THIS BOTTLE....THANK YOU FOR LOOKING AND RESPONDING ..DENNIS

This is a' Dao guang nan zhi' Mark and period bottle(1830-1850).the motif is popular 18 Lohan scene, very attractive bottle.

If you ever want to sell it, please let me know.

THEN ON TO OTHER CATALOGS AVAILABLE ON LINE THAT INCLUDED SNUFF BOTTLES WITH PRICES REALIZED. THANKS FOR THE OFFER TO SELL. ALL OF MY SNUFF BOTTLES ARE FOR SALE JUST WORKING ON THE CORRECT APPROACH.  DR. WANG AT SOTHEBY'S HAS SEEN THE BOTTLES AND SENT ME A PRELIMINARY APPRAISAL FOR THE WHOLE COLLECTION. I found this bottle a strange one. I believe that it hase some age, it is not a new replica for sure. But I have never seen this motif represented that way. It can either be of the period or not, I don't know.

I am second guessing myself now after telling you to go ahead and post it..

I wonder if the best thing to do is since all members know you have it to show for reference to your lot of bottles, if we should just let anyone who needs to see it, contact you for it if they feel it would make a difference in purchasing your bottles ??

Rather than posting it on the open forum...

I am a bit stumped as to knowing how Dr. Wang might feel if he saw it posted here...   

At least everyone knows you can share it with them if need be ?

I second that. Sounds like the most sensible thing to do. I don't think Dr. Wang's comments should be posted on a public forum without his consent.
