Just my two cents.. Not the expert.. !

That first bottle looks interesting to me... Maybe an older bottle..

The second one I believe is pretty new.

To me (and I'm not good at judging over the internet), the first looks like a rubbed enamelled porcelain, Daoguang mark and period (1821 - 1850) .
The second looks 'right' as well, but a bit later; possibly 1850-1880.

Hi Keith,

I can't quite make out the base mark from your photo. However, roosters were a popular theme on Daoguang bottles, and the overall shape of this bottle is consistent with that period (1821-1850). The second bottle could also be of the same period, but may be from slightly later, as Joey suggested.

Dear Keith,

Congratulations on finding two very nice bottles despite the well-used condition issues.  Joey nailed it with his assessment of both.  The only thing I can add is a slightly enlarged and enhanced image of the Daoguang Mark.  It reads from right to left Dao Guang nian zhi, but the Dao character is not very recognizable in your photo.

Best regards,

Tom B.
