Thanks you for remembering what I said, ;D ;D it won't always be the case, but for most of the time its true. Those two bottles are perfect examples. First of all, they are not jade, secondly, they are not carved, I would assume that they are modeled ,and possibly made by resin. When you see the word 'hetian' used in the bottle description, you can be fairly sure it is 21st century, and to be avoided. This word did not exist in snuff bottle terminology until very recently......and is mostly used by dubious sellers on eBay. Tom Title: Re: Question about a couple of hetian jade bottles..
