Title: Molded (?) porcelain bottle with silver (?) dragon and phoenix
Post by: guest636 on August 28, 2017, 07:26:25 am
This one I bought in Chinatown in Singapore in the late 1990's. It was a kind of street market in a back alley close to People's Park Complex. It is 7 cm tall, and the stopper and bottle are without any wounds. The motif on the blue and white is floral, and the ribbons could be silver, with both dragon and phoenix motifs. This has an old feel to it and could be at least vintage. The dragon "made" me buying this.
Best regards
Arne

Hi Arne,

An interesting piece. But I agree with George - completely modern.

Regards,
Tom
