Here's our response to our Singaporean fellows. We have to keep up with you guys!

After two meetings, finally we have a picture together. Joining us today was my uncle Geoffrey from Toronto, Canada who is interested in learning about the very hobby that his nephew has been devoted to. It was a short but pleasant get together and Geoff had brought over some of his snuff bottles as our dim sum too! ;D (for those who're not familiar with HK culture, dim sum means snacks in Cantonese...)

For those members who don't know us, we are, in order from left, Peter Bentley, Geoff Welch and Samson Lee with Samson's uncle, also a Geoff, on the right.

I would like to point out that I am not a dwarf, as appears in this photo, but Samson and I are kneeling on the ground with the two 'big' guys, Peter and the other Geoff, sitting on chairs. It was the only way we could get a close-up photo of everyone.

I just thought the photo made me look a bit small Joey.
Maybe it's just my sensitivity.

You could also say the photo makes Samson look a bit young.
But in his case, it's completely accurate.
And he's now got two kids! (he showed us some great photos of them).

    From the smiles on the three SB collectors' faces, and the frown on the other Geoff's face, I can state with anecdotal evidence, that collecting SBs makes the collectors happy!  ::) ;D :D

Actually Joey, the other Geoff was a very good listener.

But then he didn't really have much choice.
Which probably explains the frown - "What the heck are these guys talking about?"

    In the interests of full disclosure,  I must confess that I ate well in the presence of BOTH the Singapore Group in Oct.2014 and the HK Forum members in 2016.

    Of course, I also ate well in Piacenza, Italy; Plano, TX; Bangkok, Thailand; Paris, France; NYC; Rio Dell, CA; Palm Beach, FL; Chicago, IL.; and New Orleans; all in the company of Forum members!  :o ::) ;D
