Not very good at dating these, but first impression is that it is modern. Although a lovely overall shape ( maybe a pepper ? ) , I do not like the rest of the carving..

Indeed i'm not sure that this really are a snuff bottle, may be is other type of recipient; and in the other hand de carving is not very good, but their price I think that is nice, 70$, are you agree?
